SCRAPPERS continues to reveal fascinating daily lives
ALTHOUGH it has both its fans and its detractors, it’s good news for Bolton that “Scrappers” is going into a second series.
The entertaining fly-on-the-wall show about life in a local scrapyard has not only highlighted Metro Salvage’s Waterloo Street business but also made unlikely TV personalities out of owners Terry and Lyndsay Walker and their colourful staff.
It’s illuminating to view ordinary people working hard as well as highlighting the ups and downs of everyday life. It shows would-be entrepreneurs the realities of keeping a staff and of being in business, and reveals how people cope with daily problems.
