YOU have got to sympathise with the plight of Little Lever resident Lynda MacNeill.
She parks her car on the road outside her terraced home, where it has been crashed into 10 times in 18 months. She wants action but the Council says accident statistics don’t warrant it.
None of the drivers involved in damaging Lynda’s car has stopped to provide details, and she has three insurance claims pending as well as paying for damage.
This surely is a time for common sense.
Accident statistics may be important but damage to cars indicates a driver problem that needs curbing, and soon.
