HARMONY Youth Project has long done a fantastic job helping young people in Halliwell.
It was dealt a severe blow, however, when thieves raided its premises and stole thousands of pounds of multi-media equipment.
Thank goodness for decent people in this town who’ve donated everything from DJ equipment to computers to try to replace it.
Harmony’s Project Co-ordinator, Charlie Barratt, said the response was “amazing” and made them hopeful for the future.
It’s definitely heartening to realise that there are good people prepared to go the extra mile for a worthwhile cause.
