THE story of how a happy-go-lucky teenager from a loving family wrecked her life with drugs is harrowing.
Leanne Johnson became addicted to heroin and crack cocaine, selling her body on Bolton’s streets for the money her habit demanded. She was getting her life together when she died from a cardiac arrest, aged just 26.
Leanne was a “normal” teenager whose life quickly spiralled into hell and what happened to her is a real wake-up call for all local families. No family is automatically immune from the tempting tentacles of drugs, and the simple fact is that they destroy lives.
