JUST when you thought that summer 2015 couldn’t be a bigger let-down along come a variety of pests to make it worse.
No, nothing to do with the school holidays – these are house spiders the size of mice and biting tropical ants. That’s apart from annoying black flying ants, now a regular UK Summer feature.
Am I wrong in thinking we didn’t used to have more than wasps and bees to watch out for at this time of the year? You can’t blame it on the government but I’d be interested in just what is creating these newer seasonal nuisances.
