ASK anyone in the country to name a top personality from Bolton and the odds are they’d say “Peter Kay.”
The comedian is Bolton through and through. So there were bound to be a few raised eyebrows about him taking the role of DJ Danny Baker’s Cockney father in the TV adaptation of Baker’s biography Going To Sea In A Sieve.
No worries, though. Our Peter is more than up for the task. In fact, he’s reportedly got the Sarf-East London accent to perfection. Well, it’s only what you’d expect from this talented professional.
Peter truly is a diamond geezer!
