TV’S The Great British Bake Off seems to get better with every new series.
So the Rev Lee Banfield, pastor at Cornerstone Church in Bromley Cross, has definitely got his work cut out against the other 11 contestants in the very popular programme starting tonight on BBC One.
He’s bound to be an accomplished cook or he wouldn’t have got this far, but I’m sure the town wishes him well as he tries to please judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.
May his meringues always rise to the occasion and his bottoms never get soggy – and here endeth the advice.
