I HAVE just read the review in today’s paper of Joseph and Technicolour Dreamcoat from April 4.
I too enjoyed the opening evening of Joseph but, having read the review, I was more than surprised at the absence of an accolade for the musical director, Nicola Worrall.
Mrs Worrall was responsible for both the musical directing of the play and the training of the the young Eagley Junior school choir.
This included rewriting some of the musical score, which helped the cast to produce the wonderful singing that you mentioned.
In my opinion, there has been a massive oversight in your reporting.
I am sure she doesn’t do this for the recognition, but as you went to such great lengths to mention so many individuals by name, I just hope Mrs Worrall isn’t feeling as disappointed as I am feeling for her.
