THE expensively produced Labour leaflets dropping through our doors are focused on a “cost of living crisis”.
In Bolton, thanks to a deliberate policy by our Labour councillors, local taxpayers are being forced to pay for the second year an unnecessary rise in our council tax, unlike the surrounding towns.
This, along with the so-called “carbon taxes” on all our fuel bills, which Labour Leader Ed Milliband introduced when Energy Secretary in the last Labour Government, has deliberately forced up the cost of gas and electric to limit our usage. This is all pointing to a political party campaigning against the results of its own misguided policies.
Perhaps they think we are too stupid to see though them? The leaflets should say: “Vote Labour — get higher taxes”?
