I AM writing in total frustration. I contacted Bolton Council on June 4 about the overhanging bushes and trees in Moss Bank Way on both sides to Moss Bank Park on the left side, and to Captain’s Clough Road on the right side up to Temple Road.

Brambles and bushes stretch across the footpath and, as myself and some of my neighbours use mobility scooters, it is getting more difficult to travel on the footpath.

It is also dangerous as there is not much footpath left to travel on and we could topple over into the road.

But does the council care? Not one jot. If there was an accident and we claimed from the council, they would sit up when it was too late.
