I WAS angry and sickened when I read the front page story about the puppies left to die in freezing conditions.
What kind of people are these who would just discard these puppies, put out with the trash and left to freeze to death without a second thought. And what about the mother of the puppies, how is she being treated?
We live in a throw away society but that shouldn't apply to animals. There are animal shelters run by dedicated animal lovers, many of who work their socks off because they are decent, caring people doing their bit trying to right the wrongs of other people. Then there are people like this who get a dog, or bitch in this case, don't get her spayed, then when she gets pregnant, they callously kill her puppies.
