I RECENTLY returned to my home town of Bolton having no alternative and with a heavy heart, but to place my only sister, Doreen Axon, who is in
poor health, in a twenty four seven residential care home.
However, in light of recent negative press and concern on care homes I feel obliged to say that I have now returned home to the USA with an easy worry-free heart knowing my sister is receiving the best care I could never of thought possible, in the Clough Residential Home, Chorley New Road, Bolton.
All management, staff, cooks and cleaners alike, are truly caring people to all the residents, and visitors are always welcomed. My sister is my only
relative in England, so I visited the home on a daily basis (since my visit was only for five weeks,) for approximately six to eight hours a day and was always given the utmost in courtesies. I can never thank them enough.
I am so very thankful and truly blessed knowing that I have placed my sister in the best care possible.
