I READ with interest a story in one of the Sunday papers re Jeremy Clarkson, "Top BBC Boss comments ‘Clarkson is like Savile’." What a load of rubbish.
If I was Jeremy I would sue.
Top Gear I would say must be the most watched programme on the BBC, and without any doubt Clarkson is the wittiest, and I might say cleverest presenter they have or will ever have.
Just look at the variety of programmes we have on BBC — the channels by the way we pay for. We have cooking, gardening, building, dancing etc very few films. Not good entertainment, but when Jeremy and his colleagues are on they do give you a good laugh.
So what’s with a punch on the nose amongst friends. Jeremy and his colleagues keep us all entertained and bring in revenue worldwide.
