I HAVE just read the article in Bolton News regarding the increase in all crimes in Bolton, especially violent and sexual and I find it very worrying — even more worrying is the fact that Chief Sup Shaun Donnellan is not worried.
It seems to me what he is saying is because crimes were not recorded and dealt with properly in the past, and now they are (according to him) that there is no problem as technically there is no increase.
Maybe not a worry for the Chief Sup but I doubt victims and potential victims will feel quite the same way.
