IT was lovely to see the photo of the beautiful pink rose in Moss Bank Park in Friday's paper.
We managed to save these roses when the top rose beds in the walled garden were grassed over.
Volunteers work every Tuesday morning between10am and noon helping the gardeners to keep the Walled Garden and The Rock Garden looking good.
It is mainly weeding at the moment, if you can spare the time to help you would be very welcome (bring you gloves).
