WE have not been offered out first choice of our three primary school choices.
We have looked and there are seven primary schools closer to us than the one we have been offered. It is absolutely disgusting.
Something has to be done about this situation. There is not bus that goes directly to the school we have been offered.
We would have to catch two buses to get there or walk it. Our daughter will only just have turned four when she goes to school as her birthday is in July, and they are expecting her to walk all that way to and from school. It's a joke.
We live in BL1 where there are at least seven schools but we have been offered a school in BL3. We will be appealing.
