CONGRATULATIONS to Canon Slade School's Swimming Squad on their success as Town Champions and in securing the generous sponsorship from Stephenson's Law Firm.

Looking at the new Team T-shirts in Tuesday's Bolton News made me think about the instantly recognisable and striking white and green 'Alligator' T-shirts worn by the Swimming Squad when my daughter and son were both members in years gone by.

The design was unique and the students were proud to wear them. Why do we always seem to change things that really work?
