Oh dear, how can you trust the top people at Bolton Council, where the more money you earn the less in common sense you have?
Surely all contracts these days come with a three month probationary period, not so it seems if your pay scale is above £150,000. At a time of austerity measures and belt tightening across the board, the willingness of the council to give away £90,000 beggars belief, in the vain hope that the ratepayers will " understand."
Sadly it's not the councillors at the top on their Fat Cat salaries who suffer is it, when at the lower end, people are fighting for equal pay, pay rises and cuts to services for the vulnerable.
Just how much money is available to the people of Bolton stored away in bank vaults doing nothing to help the lower end, but readily available to those at the top? Transparency, honesty and integrity, once the pinnacle of any managerial office job of old, is now not needed at Bolton Council anymore, only stupidity and greed.
