WELL done Bolton council for the sale of council owned land.
Maybe you can now find the money for the safe pavements on Bolton Road, Westhoughton, from Chew Moor Lane to the top of the road past the Water Tower as you cannot walk on them, they are just not safe.
Pedestrians are now walking in the road. Dale Lee has been resurfaced — that asphalt should have gone on our pavements. Someone is going to have a bad fall.
I don't hold out much hope, I have been trying to get this done for the past 30 years.
