I AM appalled at the state of the weeds growing out of the kerbside and pavements in the Church Road area and surrounding residential streets.
It's becoming like a third world country. Why are the grass verges mowed and weeded regularly in the Stapleton Road area?
While I'm at it can something be done about the atrocious state of the back streets in the Chorley Old Road area. No use keep moaning about lack of funds — get some of the reserves spent and look after council tax-paying residents.
It's one thing titivating the town centre but we have to live here!
