SPEED: The national speed limit in Chorley Old Road could be changed to 50mph Picture Google Maps
AS a resident of Bottom o'th' Moor, I am whole heartedly in agreement with the speed restrictions in Chorley Old Road and area being reduced to 50 mph.
Only this morning coming home from Devonshire Road I was overtaken on the wrong side of the road and was nearly cut up when reaching the keep-left island.
Not for the first time l might add.
Perhaps it will also reduce the noise of the motor cycles on a Sunday and the Armstrong waggons that rattle up and down.
