RE the unnamed author of the letter (August 15) “No wonder homes are poor value”. The author raised a series of issues and asks for the truth.
The truth is the council is undertaking a review between July to September to pull together information on cost, quality, capacity and supply.
The information will then be presented to councillors, who will consider future options. At the moment any suggested outcomes are pure speculation.
I can confirm councillors agreed to suspend placements for three months, as this seemed only fair for anyone who might be considering a placement in the homes, pending the review.
