EVERY evening I watch empty buses driving up and down Blackburn Road and other parts of the town.
Annoyingly, these buses are subsidised from our council tax. As these services are not being used, they should be curtailed.
If these services must operate, environmental and economic logic would suggest more suitable vehicles should operate these services, such as a taxi. Any financial savings should then be used to reduce the council tax bills of downtrodden tax payers.
