WHEN it comes to well kept gardens you do not get much smarter than this one.
We snapped this photograph in October, 1977 to show the lovely work carried out in Windsor Road in Bromley Cross.
Mrs Joyce Rogers, who lived at this particular property, was proudly displaying a rather splendid looking garden.
What we are not sure about is if it was Mrs Rogers herself who created the masterpiece or a local gardener.
Perhaps someone can help us with this.
Bromley Cross is a particularly popular area of Bolton and it has grown considerably in the 39 years since this particular picture was taken.
