THIS picture was taken nearly 49 years ago at the River Ribble at Ribchester. Kenneth Hutchinson, left, was the leader of the scientific and technical section of the Bolton branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club. He was briefing members of the team before they started their search for Roman remains in the river.
