It was all about the neutrals at The Academy of Art University show.
You'll be wearing whites, greys and blacks if you fancy this autumn/winter 09 and if you subscribe to their school of thought.
The Academy is one of the top fashion schools in the United States with the most famous show in the industry.
That’s not hyperbole when you think of other schools that hold fashion shows. The Academy of Art's show this season serves the same purpose as past shows: recruit, recruit, recruit! The fresh faced talent of the school put on quite a runway show and the tent was packed to the gills as a result.
Most of the collections shown from the top student designers at the school were well received. While you would be hard pressed to actually be decked out in the collection, the other purpose is to bring awareness to the talent coming from the school and that was accomplished with this collection.
