Panto season came to a close in Bolton as St Simon and St Jude ADS presented their annual offering – Jack and The Beanstalk.
This well-known and well-loved tale was brought to life by a talented cast.
Ian Dean-Boardman’s experience shone through in his role as Dame Tallulah Trott. He had the audience’s attention the second we saw him and his costumes were amazing.
Stuart McCaig played the role of Simon Trott and he entertained the audience perfectly with his silly jokes and slapstick routines.
David Crank as Septimus Fleshcreep turned an excellent performance as the pantomime baddie. His character never faulted and he intimidated the audience on many occasion.
Kate Nixon as Jack Trott and Beth Allcock as Jill Splinter gave us some wonderful vocals and complemented each other very well.
There really are too many names to mention but each member of the cast contributed equally to a successful production.
The dancers and children’s chorus gave some wonderful routines and it was more than apparent that they were having a great time.
The costumes were excellent and very colourful. With direction by Stella Crank and choreography by Jennifer Dagnall, this was another successful production for the society.
