A FILM made by a Bolton director and starring a Farnworth resident has been nominated for a international award.
After Auschwitz has made it onto the shortlist for the Best Short Film or Documentary at the Taste Awards in Los Angeles.
The 13-minute short features actress Cathleen Blower, from Farnworth, and was made by Bolton director and former Bolton Sixth Form student Paul Blinkhorn.
Winners are decided on a public vote with the film, which follows the story of a holocaust survivor, going up against two other shortlisters.
Supporters have until December 20 to vote, with winners announced in February.
The Taste Awards celebrate the work or creators, producers, hosts, and directors of Lifestyle programs, series, shows and cinema.
