MEMBERS of one of Bolton’s youth theatre groups have been enjoying life on the high seas.

This month CATS Youth Theatre are weighing anchor on stage for four days with classic musical Anything Goes.

Promoting the show, set aboard a cruise ship in the 1930s, the cast set sail for the intu Trafford Centre where they were photographed aboard the indoor replica steam ship.

Anything Goes, by playwright Cole Porter, tells the story of Billy Crocker who stows away on a ship in pursuit of engaged heiress Hope Harcourt, hoping to win her heart with the little help of an ex-evangelical singer and cunning disguises.

Its famous score features well known songs, including I Get A Kick Out of You and Anything Goes.

The show runs from November 23 to 26, from 7.30pm, at St Catherine’s Academy, Harwood.
