WILLIAM Walton's Belshazzar's Feast will be performed at the Victoria Hall tomorrow night (May 12), by Bolton Symphony Orchestra, Bolton Catholic Musical and Choral Society and the choir of Blackburn Music Society as well as a members of the Salford Choral Society.

The piece is considered one of the all-time English classic choral pieces and will see three groups team up for the first time.

As well as the main work, there will be a performance of the Spitfire Prelude, Cockaigne Overture, in London Town, and Pomp and Circumstance March Number Four as well as other pieces.

Tickets can be bought in advance from Booths Music shop on Churchgate in Bolton, online from the Bolton Symphony Orchestra website, or from the Victoria Hall Box Office on the evening of the concert.

Anyone under the age of 25 gets in free and for everyone else, it’s just £10.
