THE organiser of Boltfest has warned festival fans not to get caught out by ticket resale sites.
Jools Taylor organises Boltfest, a free tribute festival and Festwich, a similar event in Prestwich.
Tickets for Festwich, which can be picked up from the Festwich website for just the £3.50 admin fee, are being resold on ticket resale sites like Viagogo.
Mr Taylor said: "If you don’t go to a lot of gigs I can see how people are being duped into it. Sites like Viagogo, will pay to be at the top of Google."
On Wednesday a free ticket to Festwich was on sale on Viagogo for £32.
Mr Taylor, wanted to warn Boltfest fans that a similar problem could occur.
Viagogo was approached for a comment.
Boltfest takes place Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27 and features bands: Mentallica, Wrong Jovi, Mused, Fu Fighters, Kings Ov Leon and Paramoreorless.
Tickets can be obtained from boltfest.com online where only the £3.50 admin fee needs to be paid.
