A PUB hit by allegations of crime will re-open under new management today.
The Pineapple, in Blackburn Road, has been shut following a police raid in November, after which its manager, Gail Cull, left.
She was subsequently removed as manager of the nearby Craven Heifer, after police argued that she and her family were linked to crime.
The Pineapple has now been taken over by Gastro Taverns, which is hoping to make it a popular community venue.
A spokesman said: “We are really excited to be taking on The Pineapple and are looking to provide a venue for good, vibrant, local bands and will be showing a full range of sports.”
