A 18th century village fair which was revived last year will return this summer.
Turton Fair, which dates back more than 200 years, was once one of the most important fairs in Lancashire, but declined in the early 20th century because of competition from attractions in Blackpool and Southport.
Last year, the Friends of Turton Tower relaunched the fair and more than 1,000 people visited.
This year the fair will be at Turton Tower on Monday, May 25 from 10am to 5pm. There will be the crowning of the May king and queen, maypole dancing, a dog show and stalls.
