A HUGE police response was drafted in after a man threw a pastie at security staff in Bolton Magistrates Court.
Security staff said they had removed the man from the court building, in Le Mans Crescent, after he became violent and aggressive.
After he was moved outside the court, security staff said that he continued to act violently towards them, before throwing a pastie at the external doors from the court steps.
Police were called to the court and four police cars and a van arrived outside at 11.15am.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and a man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
