A FAMILY trust with philanthropic interests in Bolton has a range of grants up for grabs.

The Sir James and Lady Scott Trust was established in 1909 and is a registered charity offering grants between £100 and £3,000.

Its beneficial area includes Bolton in recognition of the Scott family’s previous residence locally and their strong interest in the town.

The trust makes up to 20 charitable donations per year and focuses on projects that will bring benefit to older people, disabled people, children and young people and ethnic minority groups.

The trust advises applicants to contact them to discuss applications before submitting them.

The next deadline is Thursday, March 28.
