A SERIES of drop-in clinics will be held every day in Bolton next week to provide support for people suffering from eating disorders.

The clinics will take place at Breightmet Health Centre between 10am and 11am and 2pm on 4pm on Monday and Tuesday, between 10am and noon on Wednesday, between 10am and 11am and 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday and between 10am and 11am on Friday.

They have been organised by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s (CWP) Eating Disorder service.

Jill Dick, acting team manager at CWP Eating Disorder Service in Bolton, says: “Whilst the Bolton service provides treatment for many adults, we also know there are lots of people with serious eating disorders in the area who don’t seek professional help.

“We urge the people of Bolton to be aware and to encourage and support people you know who may have this problem to either talk to their GP about it, or to attend one of CWP’s Eating Disorder service drop in clinics.”
