A MAN has been charged after a carjacking in Bolton.
Christopher Murray, aged 25, of HMP Liverpool, appeared at Bolton Magistrates’ Court charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. It relates to an incident on January 1 when a couple had stopped at a shop in Marsh Fold Lane, Bolton.
The man went into and the victim was in the passenger seat of the Peugeot 307. It is alleged that Murray got in the driver’s seat and threatened her with a knife and told her to get out the car. She did so and the car was driven off.
Murray will appear at Bolton Crown Court on March 22.
