A MAN has appeared in court accused of trying to rape a woman in Radcliffe.
Musa Arslan, aged 32, of Bury Road, Radcliffe, has been charged with attempted rape of a woman in her 30s and appeared before Bury magistrates this morning.
The charge relates to an incident in the early hours of Monday in a street in Radcliffe.
Magistrates sent the case for trial to Bolton Crown Court and Arslan was remanded in custody until the next hearing on Monday, May 20.
He is also accused of assault by beating in relation to a separate incident.
