BOXER Amir Khan had a lucky escape after his car was hit by a suspected drink driver.
The incident happened yesterday when the two-time world boxing champion was on the way to the gym.
The car he was in had stopped at traffic lights when the crash happened.
The 26-year-old is currently in San Francisco while talks continue over a possible clash in May next year against Floyd Mayweather.
He tweeted the news to his 1.4 million followers.
He said: “Hit by a drunk driver on the way to the gym. Police are here and arrested the man. Back and neck hurts. He hit us at full speed while we were parked up at lights. No sparring or gym today.”
He also posted a picture of the man being arrested and a video of himself after the crash.
Khan Promotions, Amir’s management company, said: “Just been hit by a drunk driver but we are okay. We’re just shook up — thank god for seat belts.”
