Car overturns after crash in A666 Manchester Road, Kearsley

A DRIVER smashed a car into two parked cars before turning it on its side on the A666 in Kearsley.

Police were called to the smash at about 1.30am this morning.

The 45-year-old  female driver of the silver Volkswagen Polo was taken to hospital for observation but was not injured.

A police spokesman said: "Our inquiries into the incident are ongoing."

That is a wide junction, maybe she was staring at the scaffold on the old pub or checking facebook.
