A 29-YEAR-OLD man who admitted inappropriately touching a woman and trying to kiss her has been spared an immediate prison sentence.
David Brady, of Tarvin Walk, Bolton, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman at Bolton Magistrates Court yesterday.
The incident happened in the early hours of the morning on March 28 at the Tramways Hotel in Blackburn Road.
The court heard how Brady touched the woman’s leg and the inside of her thigh, before trying to kiss her.
Brady’s guilty plea and low IQ, outlined in a psychiatric report, were taken into account for his sentencing.
He was given a nine-month supervision order and a community order.
