A THIEF has been jailed for eight weeks.
Philip Atkinson, aged 34, of Westwell Street, Leigh, admitted stealing spirits worth £67.48 from Morrisons in Blackhorse Street, Bolton town centre, on December 12.
He also admitted at Bolton Magistrates Court having a pair of wire cutters for use in connection with a theft.
Atkinson also pleaded guilty to committing the crimes while subject to a suspended sentence for theft.
