BOLTON’S Kia cars showroom is up for a gong in the prestigious AM Awards.
Middlebrook-based Bolton Kia will compete with six rivals from across the UK — including Bentley, Audi and Volkswagen — in the Best Dealership category.
The AM Awards ceremony takes place on February 20, at the Birmingham NEC.
The nomination follows the refurbishment of the showroom at the beginning of 2013 and an expansion of the dealership.
After the showroom reopened in May, Kia reported soaring sales, with a 21.5 per cent increase on the previous year.
Bolton Kia has also been in partnership with ReeVoo to monitor customer satisfaction and claims 95 per cent of customers say they would return to the dealership to buy a car.
Dealer principal Alex Purdie said: “Everyone at Bolton Kia is delighted about the nomination.
“In the Best Dealership category, the judges of the AM Awards take into consideration both the achievements of all individual team members and the team as a whole, so to be shortlisted is really a nod to everyone at Bolton Kia who works very hard every day to deliver the best service.”
In their search for Britain’s best dealership, the category’s judges will be looking for examples of outstanding performance with regards to new and used car sales, the workshop, administration and marketing.
