A RAIL passenger has been fined £265 after he was caught without a £4 ticket.
Thomas Dawie, aged 42, of Corring Way, Hall i’ th’ Wood, had the case against him proved in his absence.
Bolton magistrates heard he was stopped on July 14 at Manchester Victoria.
He was also ordered to pay £100 prosecution costs, a £26 victim surcharge and £4 compensation.
