FIREFIGHTERS helped a woman escape a three-car smash in Atherton. The pile-up happened at 3.30pm yesterday outside the Atherton Arms in Tyldesley Road.
A fire crew from Atherton helped release the woman from one of three cars and she was taken to hospital.
