BURGLARS broke into two homes on Tuesday.
A home in Chelford Avenue, Sharples, was burgled after the thief got in through an unlocked door and stole a handbag.
A black Nissan Qashqai was also stolen afterwards as the keys were in the handbag.
A break-in took place in Adrian Road, Crompton, where thieves removed a sliding back door from its frame and entered. They stole a television, a games console and games.
