LANCASHIRE veterans and their relatives are being offered the opportunity to visit the beaches and fields of the Normandy landings where the decisive campaign that ended the Second World War was fought.
To mark the 70th anniversary of the landings this June, a historical research group is travelling to northern France to retrace the steps of the heroes who contributed so much to the final victory.
The trip will run from June 5 until 9. Visit battlefieldmemorialtours.co.
