BOLTON’S champion thai boxer Sandy Holt wowed crowds with a thrilling kickboxing display at the Market Place shopping centre.

Sandy was joined by a number of budding boxers from his famous Bolton Muay Thai gym, which is based in Brown Street in the town centre.

Crowds gathered at the Market Place to watch Sandy lead warm-ups with his team before putting them through their paces.

Eight-year-old Elena Murphy “kicked things off”, impressing the crowds and her tutor with her kickboxing exploits before 10-year-old Jack Briscoe took his turn to show off his moves.

Sandy, who set up the Bolton club back in 1983 has had a long and successful career in thai boxing which has included holding the titles of British Lightweight champion and European Superfeather weight Champion.
