CLEVER young things at Masefield Primary School were crowned the champions in a popular annual quiz.
The Little Lever school was one of nine taking part in Harper Green Secondary School’s annual Primary Schools Quiz, with teams facing a variety of questions.
Masefield School was victorious and took first place by two points with 65 points.
Hot on their heels was Mytham Primary School, with 63 points, and, in third place, was Cherry Tree Primary.
The winning team was presented with the Primary Schools Quiz trophy.
