Good riddance: Farnworth nightmare neighbours evicted

The Bolton News: Damian Gaskell leaving the house in Campbell Court, Farnworth Damian Gaskell leaving the house in Campbell Court, Farnworth

NIGHTMARE neighbours who have plagued the lives of people living close to them have been evicted from their home in Farnworth.

Damian Gaskell, aged 37, and Leanne Davies, aged 29, were thrown out of their Bolton at Home property in Campbell Court, Farnworth, after a catalogue of complaints.

Bolton at Home and police arrived at the home at about 11am yesterday and ordered the pair to pack their bags.

Neighbours said the couple regularly argued in the middle of the night and were noisy.

One nearby resident joked she would like to get bunting to put outside their homes to celebrate.

PC Ian Roby, for Bolton South Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The police and Bolton at Home had been receiving ongoing complaints in the Campbell Court area linked to a number of problematic properties within the estate.

“Intelligence was gathered and information was shared which led to police action being taken against a number of people and a number of properties.

“Bolton at Home followed this up with their own enforcement action by way of evictions and community injunctions.

“We have worked very hard to target these problematic individuals and have utilised the fill extent of GMP force resources culminating in substantive prison sentences for a number of key individuals.”

Neighbours welcomed the eviction.

MORE:

Resident Carla Holmes, aged 25, said: “I want to put bunting out to celebrate them going.

“Some people have moved out of the area because they couldn’t put up with it any more.

“Everyone has had enough of them.

“It would be about 2.30am that the arguments would start or they would have too much to drink.

“Police are trying to make it a better place by getting rid of everybody that is being anti-social. Sometimes it woke up my daughter, who is six.”

Mohammad Khalil Butt, of Campbell Court, added he had witnessed drug dealing and noise during the night near his home.

He said his young disabled daughter has been woken by the noise and he had confronted people in the night asking them to be quiet.

PC Roby said feedback from neighbours had been positive and that police were in the process of setting up a residents’ association.

Work will be carried out with Bolton at Home and Bolton Council’s community safety team to continue improving the area based on input from residents.

Ten people were jailed and three people received suspended jail terms at Bolton Crown Court this week for their involvement in drug supply in Farnworth.

Yesterday’s eviction is the fifth on the estate in the past year.

Last month Dean Goodwin, aged 24, was banned from entering Campbell Court and Cawdor Court in Farnworth after selling drugs from a home where he was not a registered tenant.

The house he lived at is now boarded up. He was jailed for three years on Wednesday for dealing heroin and crack cocaine.

They look like a classy bunch decked out in their charity shop tracksuits, but I bet they'll soon end up in a private rented house belonging to some slumlord who couldn't care less as long as he gets their housing benefits at the end of the month. Trash like this who have wrecked their house and made the neighbours lives a misery because of their drunken selfish antics should go on a register, a kind of housing blacklist that ensures they can't get decent housing again. With such a register in existence the tramps and chavs of this world might think twice before spending their dole on white cider and disrupting their poor neighbours sleep at night.

Wish they'd evict our neighbours who have "gatherings" until 2am, then drunken arguments & banging and swearing. But they have private landlords who don't care what they do as long as they get their rent. Kids are feral too. I agree with marco999 , there should be a housing blacklist for these selfish inconsiderate people

I can only hope that representatives of the police and the council read this forum. To be honest everyone I speak to feels the way that the contributors on here feel. It's time that people shaped up or shipped out. Might also help if they were made to work and pay for what they now receive for nothing. I believe that we have a wonderful benefits system, it's such a shame that it is allowed to be abused by dross like this.

Lets face it to be able to make these kids for cash takes a little exertion and and ability to find the person attractive enough, fortunately he doesnt look like he could manage to even rise an eyebrow without getting tired, and she looks more suited to working on council, frightening the rats onto the traps.

I have kept in touch with him since then and he along with Bolton at home have delivered on everything they promised so far. I am proud to say I stood up and helped the authorities and they helped me back. My parents and i have noticed a real difference recently on the back of some excellent work by the police and I fully believe things will continue to get better.

albertmodley - You assume that everyone is a benefits scrounger without knowing anything of the people you are aiming your spurious comments to. What makes you think that you and your hard earned pension (you come across as if you are the only one who has ever worked) are going to be bolstering up mr.mark.c, and all others, who is fully employed?

You obviously have a BIG welfare chip on your shoulder. That's sad.

I presume you've never needed to fall back on the welfare system that YOU (and I, and mr.mark.c and millions of others) have paid into?

Don't go thinking everyone is below you, or a benefit/welfare scrounger. You come across as very conceited.

Oh for goodness sake, get real. Would you think the same if you had to live next door to scum like this for years? These people are a blight on society and make life a nightmare for all around them. You will probably find it is the decent people who are looking for an escape from this kind of low life, normally on antidepressants. I know as it happened to me. I had to sell my home at half what it was worth to get out and away from the hell I had to endure and ended up in debt because of this kind of no use waste of space scum who were living rent free next door. I was going to work at 6.30 in a morning whilst the filth next door were lying in bed sleeping off their hangover from the night before. I had no support as the rest of the street were like them, thanks to the benefits system paying rents in private houses for the parasitic filth. It is time something was done about them. The concentration camp in Horwich headline in another article had me excited for a moment, maybe it was for this kind of riff raff to live in. No chance of that. No doubt the low life who have just been evicted in this case will be rehoused next to some poor soul. You never know..it could be you. See how soon your opinion changes then!

They can't see a way out as they are completely devoid of the moral of work. It's got nothing to do with dehumanisation (no Z in the spelling) of the human race.

It's bugger all to do with 'subscribing' to any kind of religion either. It's due to breeding. They have had any decency and morality completely bred out of them. They are feral scum and sadly will never be anything else. And women are far worse than men.

And if anyone thought anything decent about their own self, then they would do something about it. There are more than enough decent and properly brought up beings surrounding these type in society, so there's no reason to know what is and is not decent and moral.

Your story can be told by tens, and probably hundreds of thousands up and down the land. Don't be fooled either by the rhetoric that UKIP spouts off about they are going to do this, that and the other. They WILL tow the EU line if they were ever to get into power. And that is just not going to happen! What they spout sounds good to those who want to hear it, some of what they spout is correct, but a UKIP government wouldn't have us out of the EU, they wouldn't make one jot of difference to immigration from within the EU.

Irrespective who anyone of us votes for, no party is guilty for the type of breeding that people have had, or are giving their offspring. And the crux of this story is exactly what this news article boils down to.

We are part and parcel of Europe because of one party. That party is the Conservative party who was headed by Ted Heath. Heath signed us into Europe on the 22nd January 1972, and it came to effect on 1st January 1973.

Now then, for all those who moan and groan about how we have to tow the EU line on just about everything, then we are in that position due to the Conservative party initially signing us up to be a part of the big EU club.

Romanian gypsies, none gypsies and all other EU cultures that are coming living here will not change their ways to suit living in the UK. Would you change your ways to live in another country? Most probably would not.
So these immigrants who are spitting all over the place, get used to it, it's part of what they do. It's down to that breeding malarkey and their culture. It's filthy and could possibly end up with all sorts of diseases showing up in the UK.

Anyway, back to the point in question. The UK, sadly, has a workshy culture, who are thankfully a minority, and so long as night follows day they will never have any intention of doing a days work.

The majority of UK born citizens work, want to work, work hard and contribute their dues to keep the place running.

I am not in favour of these free borders between EU states, I don't like the EU model, but we are too far down the line to pull out. It hate the Tory party with a passion, they are a selfish bunch that are concerned with only a few things. Making the rich richer, and richer and richer.

So GeorgeX, I have only one suggestion to you regards your issues with neighbours etc etc etc - MOVE HOUSE

I assume you are on benefits? You seem to have quite a bit of empathy with the work shy brigade. Not a life style choice? They don't seem to struggle on their £60 a fortnight..especiall

y when you start counting the cigarettes, alcohol, mobile phones, tattoos, decent clothes, holidays abroad, cars etc. All these things cost quite a bit so where is the money coming from for these little luxuries? You seem to know all about this shower of scroungers so enlighten us please.
Sorry but your wrong again; see what jumping to conclusions does;& what if i was would i be blamed for UK's social & economic problems because we know who is to blame for that really dont we;but nothing is said.

£71.70 a week for a single person over 25, I posted the list in my last post.
+ rent at maybe £80, + council tax at Band A £20 a week.
Thats £171 so add a bit of tax and NI and you are into 10K+ a year in benefits.
I would never call a person that is genuine and claiming as that is why we all pay NI, but I hate freeloaders that don't have a days work in their body, at a guess those two also claim some sort of disability and carers allowance.
It makes me ill thinking about it.

I'm merely pointing out that Sleeping Thunder's figure of Sixty pounds a fortnight is completely inaccurate. If we're going to make statements based on fact rather than opinion, let's at least try to get our facts right.

It is a shame this thread has turned into a political debate on the welfare system because it set out to be a positive story about the results that can be achieved if people and the authorities work together. I, my parents and most of the decent residents on this estate watched the steady decline of the area over the last 10yrs and it probably hit rock bottom about a year ago. Working together we have turned a corner and those responsible for our misery have rightly been punished either by prison time, losing their house or both. I don't care who's fault it was that these people ended up living on the estate, that's the past now, what I do care about is the fact I helped make a difference no matter how small and I care that the police and B@H helped and supported us.

No, I am not jealous. I am pointing out the fact that whilst benefits are handed out for these work shy low life to live on, the money is coming from me and everyone else out there who works. The money they get should not be enough to buy extras, it should be for basic food, gas/electric whatever else they have to pay out NOT for their lifestyles of booze etc. Society has not turned its' back on this low life at all. They chose the life they lead, they have no intention of ever working or contributing to society in any way shape of form and no doubt if they breed, assuming they haven't done so already, then they will drag up their offspring in the same manner as themselves. @Janch1 - the thing is not everyone on benefits are living a good life on benefits - in fact les than 0.5% of those on benefits are doing that. the majority are just about getting on with life and having to on a payment that has not been increased, in real terms, in the last 12 years and as such is the worst benefits system in the western world and yet the blinkers of our esteemed citizens think its the best! For your information, if I was to want to live on benefits I wouldn't do it here in UK but move to The Netherlands where it is at least 25-30% better than here with NO restrictions unlike we have applied over here!!!

1. I lived there for 7 years and worked in Amsterdam Zuid at one of the Banks in the WTC!
2. I still have an apartment in Almere which is currently going up for sale and I am currently there sorting out the details, although I will make a loss as property has devalued over here as I bought my apartment for €147,000 and its now only worth €132,000

Only YOU think I have mental or drug or alcohol abuse - why is that?
1. I am fully there, unlike you, and I have an IQ of over 120! Plus as I have a degree and can speak 5 languages that really does not tally with having mental issues.
2. I am Tee-total so definitely no alcohol abuse
3. I detest drugs of any sort and don't even take painkillers fr a headache and would rather suffer!
So where does that leave your theory? In the water sinking to the bottom

Benefits - nope! Try £45,000+/annum in my current job, at least €1000/month from my investments in The Netherlands so comfortably well off!
General intelligence, what me knowing more than you so you try to deflect your lack of intelligence and general knowledge by saying that I have low intelligence! so m winning £10,000 on The People Versus quiz show says I am of low intelligence!
Obsesssive - I think that is you with regards to me - you never comment, on any thread you post in about the news, but only aimed towards me - why is that?
Low personal skills - not me, not one iota! I'm polite, generous and answer every question I am given. I give everyone a chance to speak and only give personal abuse back to when its given to me first.
"Everyones questions?" Don't you mean you and one other persons? I that everyone or are you fantasising again?
Like I said I gave out flight details but you and one other assumed it was from either Manchester or Liverpool!!! I just pointed out you were wrong and there are many other airport in Europe and as I didn't say where I was at the time there was no need for me to justify as to which airport and as it is up to your investigative skills to try and work out which airport I flew from!!!! Or are you not that intelligent to do that? As it is my business was to do with my investments in The Netherlands and with the solicitors (Randamie en Verstoep Notaris) and estate agents (Pieter van der Plas makelaar ) and mortgage company (Florius Hypotheek - part of the ABN Amro Hypotheek group) with regards to my apartment! But again I never said as it as a private matter until now!

As for the property it is Koperslagerhof 14, 1315BT, Almere (which has been mentioned at least 5 times on this website) - and if you don't believe me look on google and in one of the windows you will see the cross of St George an that was taken in 2009, a few months after I had moved into the apartment!. (look I have even given you a weblink - https://www.google.c

Now as for you, do you have ANY comment with regards to the news story or to any of the points raised in the comments, with regards to the news story, or are you only here to give out personal abuse to me yet again like a lunatic?

That speech and news report is from September 2013 and is not current and completely out of date!

That is very akin to the Queens Speech which we have in that he sets out what the intended Government wants to do. Since then the Government has collapsed, yet again, and a new coalition sits in place with Mark Rutte still the Prime Minister.

In the same speech he also declared the closure on the majority of coffee shops which has since been stopped as well as the proposed withdrawal from the EU club (which was part of Geer Wilders wishes) which has since been sidelined with the growth of the economy and government spending no back on track!
